Are You Having a Quarterlife Crisis?

Are you in your 20s or 30s and feeling lost? The many changes we experience in early adulthood like graduating from college, moving to a new place, dating, or starting a new job, can feel overwhelming.

You may be having a quarterlife crisis, if you are feeling:

  • Lost in life
  • Overwhelmed by adulting tasks
  • Stuck in indecision
  • Decreased motivation
  • Fatigue
  • Tension between adventure (YOLO) and settling down
  • Left behind as friends move forward in their lives

If you’re struggling with some of these things, you are not alone, and we are here to help! Our therapists and career coaches at the Quarterlife Center specialize in helping young adults survive their quarterlife crisis and thrive in their lives. We’re culturally competent, BIPOC allies, and LGBTQIA affirmative. All are welcome.

Our Mission and Services

The Quarterlife Center (QLC) is dedicated to helping you live life to the fullest by guiding you to build the life you want. We help quarterlifers discover what they truly want out of life and their relationships, to tap into their ultimate potential, and to do this in a way that honors their core values. Our philosophy is that immense positive growth can develop from a quarterlife crisis. The challenges you are facing now provide unique opportunities for personal growth that can enrich the rest of your life.

Our team has decades of experience helping quarterlifers navigate the twists and turns of early adulthood. We offer individual, couples, and group counseling, as well as career coaching services.

Meet the Founder

Christine Greer O’Connor

Dr. Christine Greer O’Connor

Hey y’all, I’m Christine, and I founded QLC to create a community for quarterlifers to receive the support they need from therapists and coaches who truly understand the ins and outs of the quarterlife crisis. Having had my own, I assure you that the quarterlife crisis is no joke. Mine was full of self-doubt, uncertainty and many changes, including working in Spain, returning to South Carolina where I’m from originally, and eventually relocating to NYC to attend grad school. From these experiences and my clinical work, I was inspired to help other quarterlifers navigate challenges such as my own. And so in 2015, QLC was born. Meet our awesome team here!

“I was having panic attacks at work and wasn’t sure why. My family encouraged me to try therapy. I finally scheduled an appointment with a QLC therapist, who helped me work through my panic and anxiety. I felt much more secure in myself, and about my career, after working with her.”

“My QLC therapist is nothing short of amazing. We bonded quickly, and I have grown more since working with her than ever before. I have changed my life for the better and it’s all due to my therapist.”

“I owe my current mental and emotional resilience and peace of mind to my therapist’s expert guidance and compassionate support. When my little sister turned 30 she asked me for advice. Hands down, invest in counseling. Unpack your thinking and behavior patterns and learn how to design the mindset you want. Your future self will thank you for it.”
