What is the Quarterlife Center (QLC)?

We are professional, licensed therapists who specialize in providing counseling to adults in their 20’s and 30’s (quarterlifers).

Where is the Quarterlife Center located?

We provide counseling services across the U.S. and throughout the world, with the use of phone and video conferencing. We also provide in-person counseling in our offices in Washington, D.C. and Greenville, S.C.

What are your office hours?

We provide counseling Monday-Saturday.

What is your fee for services?

Do you offer reduced fees?

Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. We provide sliding scale appointments based on your income and ability to pay.

Does my insurance cover the cost of your services?

QLC clients pay out-of-pocket for our services. We can provide you with an invoice for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

Services may be covered in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please contact your health insurance company directly to find out more about your coverage.

 

Here are some questions to ask your insurance company:
  • How much does my insurance plan reimburse for counseling services provided by an out-of-network provider?
  • How much is my deductible?
  • How many counseling sessions per calendar year are covered by my plan?
  • Do I need a referral to counseling from my primary care physician, in order to get reimbursed by my insurance?
  • What paperwork do I need to submit to insurance in order to be reimbursed?

What forms of payment do you accept?

QLC accepts payment by cash or check. If you decide to pay by check, please have your check prepared ahead of time, this provides us the opportunity to make the best use of our time together.

What is your cancellation policy?

Should you need to cancel your appointment, QLC requests that you provide at least 48 hours notice or you will be charged your regular fee for the missed session.

Do you offer counseling services in other languages?

Yes, we have therapists who are bilingual in Spanish, French, and Russian.

Do you offer services via video or telephone?

Yes, QLC offers sessions via Skype and FaceTime video conferencing and telephone. Telephone and video counseling are especially beneficial for the following types of clients: those with busy schedules, those who travel frequently, and those suffering from illness.

 

Please note that there are limits to confidentiality should you choose to communicate via telephone, video conferencing, email, or text messages.
